Godsforge offers simultaneous play, with each player attacking the player on their left and defending against the player on their right. In a turn, all players roll four dice simultaneously, after which each player places one of their four cards face down in front of them. In whatever order they choose, players reveal those cards, paying their cost through specific numbers on the dice rolled, the sum of the dice rolled, auction stones, or a combination of these elements. On the dice, ones can be any number, while an unused six can be spent to obtain an auction stone. Spells provide one-time effects, while Creations are played in front of you and some of them provide one-time abilities, in addition to possible attack, defense, and sacrifice abilities. Once all cards have been resolved, players assess damage by comparing their attack value to their target's defense. Then you discard cards you don't want and replenish your hand to four cards. Once a player is eliminated, anyone left in the game begins taking damage from that player each round to signal the end of the game.
