It also includes three token boxes, providing ample space to keep everything organized and ready to play. What is the Carousel? The Carousel is an experimental token set , a collection of physical tokens containing every experimental character released so far. This includes all the experimental characters from the Kickstarter Edition (with potentially updated abilities), but excludes characters from the base game, as those are not experimental. The term "experimental" means just that: we expect most abilities to be in their final form and will eventually appear in planned expansion scripts, but some are still subject to change. Many other experimental characters have not yet been publicly revealed. What is the Carousel not? The Carousel isn't an expansion in the sense of composite character sets released with their own scripts and design goals. This is different from the three core sets you already know and love, or the sets teased in the final pages of the main rulebook. The Carousel bundles all the current experimental characters into a single physical product. This allows personal players to access the same set of experimental characters available in Blood on the Clocktower Online .     King of Tokyo: Origins is a standalone game in the King of Tokyo series that is intended as an entry point for new players, as it is a smaller, more affordable set. The game features four new monsters, an assortment of new power cards mixed with older ones, energy cubes and green dice with yellow characters. The gameplay remains the same as in the original game: to win, you must be the first to score 20 points or be the only creature left. During a turn you roll six dice, which show the following six symbols: 1, 2 or 3 points, energy, healing and attack. Over three consecutive rolls, you choose whether to keep or discard each die to gain points, gather energy, restore health, or attack other players. When you attack and are outside of Tokyo, you hit whoever is in Tokyo; if you're in Tokyo, you'll hit everyone outside of Tokyo! If someone's health drops to 0, they are out of the game.
