Chronicles of Crime is a fantastic board game, which cleverly uses an app. In Chronicles of Crime, you are presented with a new case each game, which you have to solve by means of clever thinking and good searching. You can visit different locations, interrogate suspects and search for evidence. You do all this with your phone in your hand.

Your phone is a hugely important part of Chronicles of Crime. With it, you can scan the QR codes on suspects and locations. This way, you can see what the suspects say and you can travel to locations. But that's not the only thing you can do with your phone in Chronicles of Crime. There is a complete VR environment built into Chronicles of Crime. This allows you to really look around a location and possibly even find evidence there.

Chronicles of Crime Noir

Have you already finished the base game of Chronicles of Crime? Then fortunately Chronicles of Crime Noir is out! In it you go back to the 1950s of the previous century and you are a private detective who has to solve several cases again. The difference with the base game Chronicles of Crime is that here you can also choose from some extra options, such as bribing someone or breaking into a location.

Of course, those extra options are super handy, because sometimes you can find out extra information that way. But make sure you only do it with the right people, because otherwise it can easily turn out disadvantageous. All of that ensures that you can play Chronicles of Crime Noir even more tactically.
