Gam'in biz Fika - Card game
A fika is a Swedish coffee break. You drink a cup of coffee or tea together with a delicious pastry. With a fika it is not about what you eat or drink, but about the fun: you consciously take the time between activities to be with your friends, colleagues or family. In FIKA you compete with the café across the street. Tactically place your cards in your own café and influence the café across the street. The winner is the café owner who is the first to win two rounds. You play FIKA in rounds. The first player to win 2 rounds wins the game. So you play a maximum of 3 rounds. In a round, you take turns placing cards (snacks and drinks) at the tables in your own café. You then perform the action associated with that card. At the end of a round you count the points. Each card has its own purpose and depending on its difficulty you get more or fewer points. Whoever has the most points wins the round.

A nice puzzle game, with illustrations that transport you to a dreamy landscape full of wood elves and other friendly creatures. Pixies plays quickly and is easy to explain. Yet there is a lot of depth to it, more than you might think at first glance. Because you can earn points in several ways, you always have to find the balance when choosing new cards. In order to score a lot of points, you sometimes have to sacrifice cards that you have previously taken: that hurts a bit, but is important for those who ultimately want to become really good at this game.

Starfish played with two duo cards scores 3 points, but cancels the effect and the cards. The seahorse replaces any missing collectible card.
