In It's a Wonderful World you embody a growing empire and must develop faster and better than your competitors! A game consists of 4 rounds. In each round you draw cards that you use to produce resources and develop your empire. You can choose to recycle some cards to get resources immediately or use them to build to produce resources and/or win victory points each round. At the end of round 4, the player with the most victory points wins the game. The Games Friends: " Are you a fan of Splendor and Century: The Spice Route, for example? Then It's a Wonderful World is really a game you must have! In It's a Wonderful World you try to complete buildings by filling them with cubes in the right color. Because of the short rounds and the many cards, It's a Wonderful World plays really well. "

It's a Wonderful Kingdom is a standalone solo or 2-player game set in a Low-Fantasy universe. Inspired by the core mechanics of its predecessor "It's a Wonderful World", this new game offers more interaction, a bluffing mechanic and new challenges. The game is played using modules, each different and with mechanical twists. Each game, players choose one of several modules to compete against each other. The game is divided into 4 rounds. Each round has 3 phases. 1 / Split and fall Players take turns placing their cards in two piles in the center of the table. A player takes 2 cards from his hand and places them on the same pile or divides them between the two piles. The other player chooses a pile. This step is repeated alternately until the players have placed all the cards from their hands. Furthermore, each player has 2 traps that can be used to place face-down cards. 2 / Plans Each player chooses, from the cards he has collected, which ones to build and which to recycle to speed up development. 3 / Sequential production Each player produces the resources of his Kingdom in a sequential manner. Because the resources are produced in a certain order, it is necessary to anticipate the sequences to optimize production and development. At the end of the 4th round, the player with the most victory points wins the game. The Games Friends: It's a Wonderful Kingdom is, in our opinion, even more fun than It's a Wonderful World. The new mechanism for selecting cards works smoothly and is a bit more tactical and the modules are also a nice addition. Just a very good 2-player game!

A World of Possibilities and Choices

'It's a Wonderful World' takes players to an alternate future, where the world has been destroyed and players are in charge of rebuilding civilizations. The game is played over a series of rounds, each consisting of seven phases. The central challenge of the game is managing resources and making strategic decisions to develop and expand your civilization. The core of the game revolves around the "drafting" mechanic, where players choose cards from a hand of cards. Each card represents a construction project, ranging from buildings to technologies, and has both immediate benefits and permanent bonuses. Players must carefully weigh which cards to keep and which to pass on, taking into account their current goals and future plans.

Resource Management

Players must ensure that they have the necessary resources to build and activate cards. This requires smart planning and gathering of resources throughout the game, while taking into account the possibility of building cards that increase your production capacity. The decisions players make when managing their resources are crucial to their success. Should they invest in more production buildings to ensure an abundance of resources? Or do they prefer to build cards with immediate benefits to progress faster? Finding the right balance between short-term gains and long-term strategies is the key to creating a thriving civilization.
