Description

Amritsar, India is home to the Sri Harmandir Sahib, also known as the Golden Temple. This spectacular building is world famous as a sacred site for the Sikh community and is one of the most famous pilgrimage sites on earth. After it was demolished several times, Maharaja Ranjit Singh, founder of the Sikh Empire in India, rebuilt it in the early 19th century with marble, copper and covered the upper floors with 750 kilos of pure gold. Hence it was called the Golden Temple.

In Amritsar, the players represent various personalities of the time who helped the Maharaja of the Sikh Empire rebuild the Golden Temple for 3 decades, by providing him with the necessary materials for the different parts of the temple. To do this, players must plan their workers and associated actions in the most optimal way. At the end of the third decade, the player with the most victory points wins the game.
