Description

Autobahn is an economic strategy game about the construction of the German highway system over three periods, from the end of World War II to the present.

At the end of the second period (in 1990), the Unification offers opportunities to further expand the network to the east of the country.

As director of the BundesAutobahn Organization, you are responsible for the management and development of the German national highway network.

​In addition to building roads, you are also responsible for facilitating the transportation of goods to neighboring countries and building gas stations to take advantage of this new traffic.

As you contribute to the development of the network, your board members will gain seats on the board and can increase your budget at the start of each period.

Over the course of the game, your board members eventually move on to more prestigious seats in the Bundesautobahn building, which also earns victory points at the end of the game.

Plan ahead to maximize your efficiency: every contribution you make builds your reputation and gives you access to new departments and scoring opportunities that better suit your chosen path to victory.

With the cards in your hand you can take actions on one of the 7 main highways.

You must plan carefully and time your actions perfectly if you want to get the most out of your hand before having to retrieve your cards.
