Gold is the lifeblood of war!

As the Hun horde made its way through Europe, they forced the Germanic tribes to exodus. These warring peoples spread within the borders of the Western Roman Empire and would eventually cause the collapse of the empire through plunder and war. In the twilight of antiquity and at the dawn of the Middle Ages, the so-called "barbarian nations" founded kingdoms on the former imperial territory.

In Barbarian Kingdoms, an asymmetrical and competitive strategy game, each player controls their own emerging kingdom and battles for dominance over Western Europe. The first player to control seven territories or eliminate two kings wins the game.
