Tactical area control meets adventure in this cooperative game of animals versus machines, designed by the creator of Parks and the inventor of Bloc by Bloc. Play as one of four unique factions and assemble your team of defenders from a wide variety of animal characters to withstand the machines on a modular board that changes with every play.

War has come to the Wild. For millennia, animals have endured shifting alliances and the cycle of hundred-year seasons—but never have they known an enemy quite like this. An army of machines powered by cursed magic is rampaging through the Commonwood, enveloping all in its path and exploiting the world’s warmth. Across the swamps, plains, mountains, and forests, brave defense groups rise to resist the machine occupation. The partisans belong to four factions, each determined to fight back in their own way: the Council with its fortresses, the Order with its flame-wisdom, the Sect with its ingenious inventions, and the Coven with its spells.

Players are leaders of the resistance, gathered at a dangerous crossroads in the war against the machines. Construction of a new machine core and a sprawling factory complex has begun on the site of an animal village. Engines build walls to enclose habitat after habitat, while mechs guard the expanding factories and spread toxic pollution. You must work together despite longstanding disagreements and help your network of fellow defenders deploy in the right places and at the right times to win this crucial battle. Remove pollution, fight mechs, breach walls, build camps, and defeat the factories before the machines complete construction of the core and conquer this region of the Commonwood.

Can the Defenders band together to restore the land and outsmart a seemingly impossible enemy? Or will the Commonwood succumb to an endless industrial winter? It’s up to you and your comrades to decide.
