Detective Club is a light party game with hilarious moments. It is an excellent test for your creativity, observation skills, spontaneity, talent for improvisation... or it simply offers you a lot of fun!
Each round a new player is the game leader. This person chooses a code word and writes it down in the notebooks. However, one booklet is left blank. The booklets are shuffled face down and distributed to the other players. So everyone except one player will know what the code word is.
The game leader then starts by playing one card from his hand that matches the code word. He may not provide any further information. Going clockwise, the other players must also play a card that matches the code word. If you are not aware of what the code word is, you have to make a quick decision based on the cards already played and hope that you don't get caught later. When all cards have been played, do this a second time so that everyone has 2 cards in front of them.
Now the game leader announces what the code word is and also explains why he played the two cards. Then all other players may also explain why they played their 2 cards. If you were not aware of the code word, you will now have to think quickly and withstand the “interrogation” with nerves of steel. Because after that everyone can vote for who they suspect is the intruder...
