Avoid negative points and form colorful rows in this colorful version of Take 5!
In this colorful version of Take 5!, you play cards in rows while thwarting your opponents. You always have to pay attention to the colors of the cow heads on your cards, because if you play the sixth head of the same color, you have to draw the entire row. Luckily, the Bonte Baron can help you out. This eccentric cow fits in every row and can therefore be placed almost carefree. If you've taken the bull by the horns and collected the fewest negative points, you're the winner!
This colorful card game is the perfect recipe for a fun evening. The simple rules and active interaction between players make for a fun time at any table. Whether you play three rounds in between or continue playing until a player reaches a certain number of negative points, the flexible time limits make it a game you can conjure up in any situation.
Each player receives a number of cards based on the number of players. These form that player's personal draw pile. Players then draw four cards from their draw pile and place five cards vertically on the table. These five cards form the start of the rows that can be formed. Each player chooses one of their four cards to play and places it face down on the table. Once all players have played a card, they are turned over simultaneously. The player with the lowest value card starts and may add it to one of the five rows. Cards can only be added to a row with at least one matching color of a cow head. The next player is the player with the second-highest value, and so on. If a player plays the sixth cow head or the sixth card in a row, they must draw the entire row. Drawn cards are worth minus points. When players run out of cards, they draw four more cards from their draw pile, and when the draw piles are empty, the round ends. The player with the fewest minus points after a predetermined point is the winner!
