999 Games Stay Cool - Party Game (EN)
In Stay Cool, your fellow players bombard you with questions and the player who answers the most questions wins. These are absolutely not difficult questions that require in-depth knowledge. There are everyday questions, personal questions, but also agility or speed assignments. If you are a bit astute or resourceful, you will have no problem answering the questions quickly. Sure, there's a timer running, but nothing else to worry about, right? The challenge of the game is that two people ask you questions at the same time! You also have to answer them in two different ways. Answer your left neighbor's question out loud while you "write down" the answer to your right neighbor's question by spelling out dice with the letters on them. While you do this, another player will set a 30-second hourglass four times, giving you a total of two minutes to answer as many questions as possible. At the end of that time, multiply the number of correct answers you gave to the questions from the left and right together to determine your score. The winner is the one who answers the most questions correctly in 3 rounds and thus scores the most points. You can play this party game with 3 to 7 players. Perfect for a fun evening of multitasking with friends or family. The Games Friends: "You have to be quite stress-resistant to win Stay Cool, but it is still a lot of fun to do. During the game you often lose the overview, but you still have to keep going and try to answer as many questions as possible. Highly recommended for the right group!"

Each turn requires crucial decisions, where you must consider whether to choose a die of a certain value or to secure an animal tile that may no longer be available. At the end of the game, you score points for each area of connected tiles of the same habitat, based on the sum of your dice of that color. However, points are only awarded if dice with values of 1 or 2 are placed on certain “family” tiles within the habitat! During the game, you also build lookout towers, which earn you points for all three dice adjacent to them. To make your park even more spectacular, you also try to collect as many different species as possible, with increasing points for more variety. The player with the most points wins the game. After a few games you can challenge yourself by playing with three (out of 18) mission tiles. While they offer the opportunity for a higher score, they also increase the difficulty of the puzzle. Spectacular offers simultaneous play and allows for interaction between players, as your opponents’ decisions will affect which tiles and dice are available to you. The game also comes with asymmetrical player boards (on the back). Spectacular offers simple rules, quick setup, short playing time, engaging puzzles and can be played by 1 to 6 players with little waiting time, even with a larger number of players.

Game Brewer Stroganov - Board Game (EN)
In the 16th century, Russia began to expand eastward to develop the vast areas of Siberia. This stage in history is closely associated with the name "Stroganov". In the game Stroganov, players try to collect the best furs to gain wealth and fame as they travel across the vastness of Siberia. They will travel through Siberia in the spring, summer and autumn before returning home each winter. After four years (rounds), the player who has used his actions the best and collected the most victory points wins. Every year the players must move east through the landscape. They can spend horses if they want to travel further. Once they have progressed, they can take a basic action such as trading or collecting furs or coins. Finally, they can take more advanced actions such as visiting a village, setting up a yurt, accepting a Tsar's wish (map), setting up a hunting lodge, or purchasing a landscape field. All of these actions - combined with exploration and some story telling along the way - earn players victory points at the end of the game. Every winter, players return to Tyumen to prepare for a new year. After four years, the game ends, with players scoring victory points based on collecting the correct landscape tiles, fulfilling the Tsar's wishes, building hunting lodges, collecting furs, and more. The Games Friends: Stroganov looks beautiful and has a pretty unique theme. The actions are not too complicated, but the choice of symbols sometimes makes it feel more difficult than it actually is. Due to the changing tiles on the board, there is sufficient variation, but despite this, this game will not be on the table every week due to the enormous competition from other games in this genre. But, definitely recommended to try!

999 Games Savannah Park - Board Game (NL)
The African savannas form a rich animal landscape, which is, however, not without danger. It is important for the animals to live in herds. The herds also need access to water and shelter from trees and shrubs. Furthermore, the animals must be careful of forest fires. In Savannah Park you have to move hexagonal tiles in your personal tableau in such a way that you get the largest possible herds of the same animals. The more water sources visible on the herd's animal tiles, the more valuable this herd becomes. You have to plan ahead when moving the tiles. For example, there are three fixed points with forest fires, which ensure that animal tiles are chased away. This is how herds can be broken up. Savannah Park contains several variants. For example, you can play Savannah Park with a variable landscape tableau, with extra rules for lions, as a solo version or as a lighter version for children. Savannah Park is easy to learn and plays quickly. Ideal for the whole family! The Games Friends: A game couldn't be much easier in terms of rules: you choose a tile that has not yet been chosen and each player moves that tile. In this way you try to make groups of the same animals, using as many waters as possible. The player who does this best (and who best takes the flames into account) is the winner. Super simple, yet surprisingly fun to do. Recommended!

Lautapelit Flamme Rouge: Peloton Expansion (NL)
The 'Peleton' expansion for the basic game Flamme Rouge brings new possibilities to the game: 2 new colors of riders (pink and white) with which the game can be played with 6 players and even up to 12 players, with each player having their own rider ( Sprinteur or Rouleur). By adding 2 types (Strength or Platoon) “Dummy” teams, the game becomes even more exciting for 2 players and the game is also suitable for a solo race. With the legendary cobblestone tiles, the road leads to 1 lane, only the best are fast enough for this course. With exhaustion approaching, you can pick up a little speed on the Care Zone tiles and the road will become 3 lanes. The Games Friends: The Peloton expansion is a fun expansion for Flamme Rouge. With the extra material you can now play it with many more players and the new terrain tiles provide a nice variation. As far as we are concerned, this expansion is indispensable for fans of the base game.
