If you cannot build a card, you must skip the turn. If no one has been able to lay down a card for a round, the game is over. Because you are not allowed to consult, you have to carefully assess what everyone is doing. Maybe you play a card that bothers everyone? Or do you have a good sense of your team members and do you get a top score? The fewer cards you have left, the better!
