In Zombicide, zombies are controlled by the game as players take on the role of Survivors who must work together to survive and thrive in a world overrun by the bloodthirsty undead. Find weapons and equipment to battle the zombies through 25 different scenarios linked by a branching story as you fight your way through an infested city. Zombicide 2nd Edition features refined and streamlined rules, including target priority updates to ranged attacks, door interactions, and vehicle mechanics. A new dark zone feature has also been added, a zone that hides zombies from Survivors' attacks. Zombicide 2nd Edition will also feature new components and miniatures, including plastic dashboards and new child survivors. Cities are growing, commerce is flourishing, and we're working on our most ambitious machine yet: a gigantic contraption that will bring even more progress to the city. Sure, some trees are being cut down and the river is flowing less vigorously than it used to, but there's still an abundance of trees and water. We could certainly use that extra space to expand the city—and it's not like the ancient creatures of those woods can do anything about it. In Daitoshi , you choose during your turn whether to produce or move your magnate to a new district. In that district, you can put your workers to work, exploit forests or river areas to satisfy your insatiable need for steam, and perform an action to assert yourself in the city. These actions not only contribute to your quest for recognition but also help all the inhabitants of the great city. You expand the city and provide districts with electricity, discover and develop new steam-powered inventions, and trade with distant cities. Perhaps you even participate in the construction of the colossal urban project: the Mega Machine. This involves clearing forests and draining rivers, but in your generosity, you give the displaced workers from those areas new jobs in your service. According to ancient legends, forests and rivers are protected by yōkai, but progress isn't held back by fairy tales. Perhaps it wouldn't hurt to participate in some reforestation projects—while at the same time concealing your involvement in the misuse of natural resources...
