Where can I book a house for the DSV Games Weekend?
This can be done via our website, namely via this page .
Can I also book a house myself via Eigen Wijze?
No. It is not only the house that you book when you make a reservation for the DSV Games Weekend, but also the shared games room, the supervision in the games room, the activities, etc. Bookings can only be made via despelenvrienden.nl.
Can I book a specific house?
You cannot book a specific house number. There are options for special houses, for example for the disabled. Please contact us to see if these houses are still available.
Can I bring my pets?
That's allowed! When making your reservation you can indicate that you want to bring your pet.
What is included in the price?
– The cottage (for 4, 6 or 8 people)
– Access to the games room (only accessible to DSV guests)
– Guidance in the games room (from Geert, Marieke and other DSV supervisors)
– Extra activities during the games weekend, such as a quiz and a joint game
– Telegram group for all guests (anticipation!)
– Shop with a discount at De Spelletjes Vrienden during the DSV Games Weekend

You pay this directly when booking a house
Do I get reward points for booking a house?
No, you only receive loyalty points for buying board games, card games and accessories from our webshop.
Can I use a gift voucher to book a house?
Yes, that's possible.
Can I use loyalty points when booking a house?
Yes, that's possible. However, you will not receive any loyalty points for your booking. You only receive loyalty points for purchasing board games, card games and accessories.
Can I pay afterwards?
No, post-payment is not possible for the DSV Games Weekend.
How old do I have to be to book a house?
We only accept reservations from persons who are 18 years or older. The main booker must also be present at the stay. Reservations made by persons under the age of 18 are not valid.
Stay
Which houses are there?
We have 5 types of houses available for the DSV Games Weekend: for 4, 6 and 8 people. Here you will find more information.
Is there free wifi?
Yes, free WiFi is available throughout the park.
What facilities are there at the park?
There are some small activities at the park itself, but of course it all revolves around the games room. A restaurant is currently being built that should be in use by the weekend of January 2025, there is a playground, go-karts and an indoor arcade for the children. View all facilities.
Are there also special houses, for example for disabled people?
Some houses are suitable for disabled people. Please contact us to see if these houses are still available.
Can I choose my own house?
No, Eigen Wijze has reserved houses for us. We cannot indicate a preference in this regard.
Change and cancel
I want to make a change to my reservation. How do I do that?
Contact us by email. We are happy to help you!
Can I still cancel my house? And what costs are involved?
Change(s) or cancellation of your reservation will only be processed if it is confirmed by email. The cancellation date is the date of the next working day following the day on which the email was received by De Spelletjes Vrienden.
Percentage of the price that the tenant owes upon cancellation:
– In case of cancellation more than 3 months before arrival:
15% of the agreed price
– In case of cancellation within 3 to 2 months before arrival:
50% of the agreed price
– In case of cancellation within 2 to 1 month before arrival:
75% of the agreed price
– In case of cancellation within 1 month before arrival:
90% of the agreed price
– In case of cancellation on the day of arrival:
100% of the agreed price
We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance.
How do I take out cancellation insurance and travel insurance?
You can take out this with various insurers in the Netherlands and Belgium. We definitely recommend that you take out cancellation insurance and travel insurance in case you are unable to attend.
Arrival and departure
From what time can I check in?
Check-in is possible on Friday from 3:00 PM .
How do I check in?
On Friday you can go to the games room from 3 p.m. to pick up the key to your house.
What time do I have to check out?
You can check out on Sunday at the end of the day.
How do I check out?
At the end of the day on Sunday you can return the key to us in the games room.
PLEASE NOTE: Final cleaning is included in the price. Eigen Wijze expects you to leave the house tidy. By this they mean: All dishes must be put back in the right place in the cupboard, dry and clean. The garbage must be deposited in the appropriate containers. Please remove the bed linen from the beds before departure and place them together at the bottom of the stairs or, if there are no stairs in your accommodation, place the bed linen at the entrance of your house before departure. The floor must be left clean and stick-free. The layout of the house, the accommodation object and/or the rented room must be as it was found upon arrival. Any damage must be reported to reception before departure.
How should I leave the house?

Games room
What are the opening hours of the games room?
Friday: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Saturday: 10am – 10pm
Sunday: 10am - 9pm
Where can I find the games room?
The games room is in Room De Huiskamer and Room De Stal (these are connected to each other). You can find this on the map .
Can everyone come and play games in the games room?
No, the games room is only accessible to guests of the DSV Games Weekend (booked via despelenvrienden.nl).
Can I eat and drink in the games room?
Yes, but we do ask you to keep it tidy, so that the space remains a pleasant place for everyone. We prefer that you eat your dinner in your own home or in the restaurant.
Can I bring my own games to the games room?
Yes, but you are responsible for your own games and keeping them complete and tidy.
Can I borrow your games to play in my own house?
That's allowed. This can be arranged on the day itself. Ask us in the games room for more information.
Which games are you bringing?
We will bring at least 200 games, but of course we will try to take as many as possible. When booking a house, you can indicate which games you would like to play, and we will do our best to include them. Here you will find the games list with games that will be included anyway because you have given up on them.
Are there also games for children?
Yes, we also include games for children.
I want to play games after 10 p.m., but the room is closed then...
Don't worry, there is a possibility to borrow games from us, so that you can continue playing in your own home.
Can I come by one day?
No, unfortunately there is no room for day guests. We need all the space for the guests of the DSV Games Weekend.
Corona
What happens if the weekend cannot go ahead due to corona?
The weekend will then be moved free of charge.
Are there any measures at the moment?
No, there are no more measures at this time. If they do come again, we will of course adhere to the government guidelines regarding corona in force at that time.
Can I cancel if I have a positive corona test / quarantine obligation at the time of departure?
That depends on your own cancellation insurance. View the conditions of the cancellation insurance you have taken out. We recommend checking this carefully with your own cancellation insurance prior to your booking to avoid surprises.
