Winter is approaching and all animals are rushing to stock up on as much food as possible so they can survive until spring. Clear their paths and help your friends spend their cold days under a warm blanket of a filled belly.

Bosloot is a cheerful building and planning game. To win this game you have to build a forest, fill it with animals and make sure they stock up on their favorite foods!

You will like Bosloot if you like puzzles and face difficult dilemmas. You not only have to always choose the best card for yourself, but also see whether you are not leaving something very beautiful for someone else. That is why we recommend Bosloot for players who like to play Carcassonne, Queensland or Evergreen, for example. The rules are quite simple, so the game is also very suitable for people who do not have much experience with games.

In Bosloot you build your own forest of 4 by 4 with 16 cards. Each player starts with 1 animal card. Each round there are 4 cards face up, 3 forest paths and 1 animal. They are all linked to one of the advisors: the rooster, the armadillo, the goat and the rabbit. Players take turns choosing 1 card, which they must place, and also carry out the action of the corresponding advisor.

Their goal is to build forest trails for their animals that lead to those animals' favorite foods. Because every animal has its own preferences, this is not that easy. After 15 rounds the game is over and everyone counts the number of points he gets for his animals. Whoever has the most points wins Bosloot!

If you find the game a bit too easy after a few plays and there are two of you, try the expert mode. You start with 2 animals, you choose 2 animals each round and your forest can be 8 by 4 in size. Now you can really show off your planning skills!
