Captain Flip: In the Jaws of the Kraken is a mini-expansion for the award-winning game Captain Flip (Spiel des Jahres 2024). This expansion adds a new set of five adventure boards featuring the deadly Kraken, challenging players to collect treasure while evading the monster.

The Kraken's presence adds tension and tactical twists. Players must carefully weigh risk and reward as they attempt to fill their columns with crew members, earn coins, and potentially retrieve the Treasure Map. Completing identical or varied crew columns yields new bonuses, allowing for bolder strategies.

For those who prefer to sail alone, the Solo variant offers a scoring challenge where you try to earn as many coins as possible to climb the ranks from Landlubber to the legendary Legend of the Sea. The expansion adjusts the way columns are scored and introduces a race against time, with the Kraken's shadow growing with each move.
