How Dare You - Party Game (ENG)

Description

One player reads a question where the answer is a number. The active player must guess a number close to - but not higher than - the correct answer. Players take turns making a guess that is higher than the previous player's, or they shout "Dare" if they believe the previous player has guessed too high. When "Dare" is called, the answer is checked and the player who got it wrong has to keep the card for "Silly Goose points". Once a player has collected a certain number of cards, the game ends, and the player with the most Silly Goose points loses. Everyone who remains wins.

Almost no table space is required, so the game works well as a party game in almost any setting. "How Dare You?" Comes with 2 optional advanced rules that make the game more interesting:

"Doubling": If you guess a number that is at least twice as high as the previous player's, you get a "doubling card." This card negates one "Silly Goose point". This variant tempts players to make higher gambles.

"Double Dare": When challenged, you can accept the challenge and check the answer, or you can respond with a "Double Dare". The player who is wrong now receives a double penalty (two cards instead of one). But the player who started the challenge now has the option to back out and withdraw their challenge. If they do, they must instead guess a higher number before the round continues as normal.
