Although the game is competitive, it does not pit players directly against each other; instead, they can succeed through their own achievements. The game uses a deck-building system and emphasizes player freedom, with stories emerging through the mechanisms. The starting setup can provide some direction, but the open-world design encourages players to pursue their own goals and shape their story as they wish.
