Against the Shadow, the highly anticipated solo and cooperative expansion to War of the Ring – The Card Game, featuring all-new Shadow cards that have been customized, allowing the player(s) to command the Free Peoples against the Shadow bots .

Inspired by the Lord of the Rings trilogy, War of the Ring - The Card Game immerses players in the quest of The Lord of the Rings, allowing them to explore their own version of the trilogy. Using uniquely designed decks that represent the strengths and weaknesses of the peoples and characters who fought in the War of the Ring. Each player controls one or more of the factions, either on the side of the Free Peoples or the Shadow Armies.

Against the Shadow is the first expansion for the game, allowing solo and cooperative play for up to two players, as the Shadow factions are automatically handled using special decks included in the expansion.
