Description

In Sankoré: The Pride of Mansa Musa, a dynamic, interactive Eurogame, 1-4 players run the prestigious University of Sankoré in 14th-century Timbuktu. They were commissioned by Emperor Mansa Musa to spread knowledge throughout West Africa.

By enrolling and graduating students, teaching classes, expanding the curriculum, and filling the large library with books, you advance knowledge in four major disciplines: theology, law, mathematics, and astronomy. Once construction of the university is completed, the value the government places on each discipline will dramatically impact how you score the knowledge you passed on.

A special solo mode pits you against the "Distinguished Scholar", a passionate and ambitious academic controlled by an elegant automated system. They may not be as agile as you, but they are focused and driven and strive to produce the best students possible.
