The first tremors were only small, but as the land began to change, strangely enough our sense of security increased as well. We saw the cliffs of Hytazch falling into the sea. Mighty trees of old, swallowed by the caverns below. As the waters rose, a great noise was heard over the plains. This was not a cry of disbelief or heartache, but of jubilation.
Songs began to fill the air as our once peaceful hosts now prepared for war. Suddenly on the horizon we see what looked like enormous energy beams from space. Despite the inevitable shockwave coming our way, the clans continued to cheer as they rushed to the origin of the fire. What could cause such elation? Why abandon caution in favor of chaos? Had we missed something - a crucial misunderstanding about this planet and its inhabitants?
Upon reaching the site we were immediately plunged into battle. Scattered across the landscape were six massive structures that towered over the forces fighting beneath them. They seemed to pulse and flicker with a golden haze. Could these be the ancient remains that the Oxataya spoke of? There is so much we still don't understand, but we cannot give in to indecision. Shall we stay and fight, or retreat to Moontide?
