Herrlof is a two-person card game set in the Viking Age. Players aim to win the 'herrlof': a sign of honor and victory. Both players are dealt 15 cards with which they compete for 15 tricks. At the start of each round you predict how many tricks you expect to get. But you do this without your opponent seeing it. This makes it a tactical game, because you want to win exactly the right number of tricks and thus earn bonus points.
