Kinfire Chronicles: Night's Fall is a cooperative campaign game for 1-4 players that combines thrilling fantasy adventure with tactical, nerve-wracking combat. Play as one of six unique Seekers, sworn to protect the city of Din'Lux and help rebuild the world beyond. to build. Armed with kinfire lanterns, you brave the Starless Nights, fight the creatures that appear, and protect each other from the evil forces that want to stop you. Each quest has three phases: adventure, combat, and exploration. In the adventure phase, players make choices based on options presented on quest cards and must accomplish something (such as crossing a river or pursuing a suspect) by turning over the appropriate number and color of cards from their decks. In the combat phase, players work together to defeat enemies on a physical battle board. Turns are determined by drawing tokens from the destination bag, with each enemy having numbered tokens corresponding to different attacks and actions. Players can play action cards on their own turns to deal damage, and can play boost cards during other players' turns to do things like reduce damage, move players, or even return a drawn token to the destination bag for a new draw. The game does not end if an objective is not completed or an enemy defeats the heroes, but it will affect the rest of the game and the choices available. Finally, certain quests allow players to return to town during the exploration phase to talk to NPCs, purchase items, and strengthen their decks. Each of these stages has cards woven into them that force you to make choices, such as resting before continuing or jumping straight into battle, or choosing whether or not to spare someone’s life. The characters in the game have their own morals and standards, and playing according to your character can earn you Kinfire tokens that help you develop further. Ultimately, however, the decisions you make are entirely up to you.

"A party game for terrible people." The game begins with a judge, known as the "Card Czaar", who chooses a black question or fill-in card from the top of the deck and shows it to all players. Each player has a hand of ten white answer cards at the start of each round and deals one card (sometimes two) face down to the Card Czar, representing their answer to the question on the card. The Card Czaar determines which answer card(s) are the funniest in the context of the question or fill-in card. The player who submitted the chosen card(s) is given the Question Card to represent an "Awesome Point", and then the player to the left of the new Card Czaar becomes the new Czaar for the next round. The game continues until the players decide to stop, at which point the player with the most Awesome Points is the winner. So far it sounds like the popular and fairly harmless game "Apples to Apples". Although the games are similar, the humor required is very different. The game encourages players to joke about virtually any uncomfortable or taboo topic, including race, religion, gender, poverty, torture, alcoholism, drugs, sex (yes, really), abortion, child abuse, celebrities, and those everyday little annoyances like “expecting a burp and vomiting on the floor.” Plus, there are a few extra rules. First, some question cards are "Pick 2" or cards, where each participant must submit two cards in order to complete their answer. Secondly, there is also a gambling component. If a question is played that a player thinks has two possible winning answers, he can wager an Awesome Point to play a single second answer. If the betting player wins, he keeps the point wagered, but if he loses, the player who contributed the winning answer takes both points.

Japan, 1761: Harima Province. Daimyo Sakai Tadazumi is one of the top advisors to the Tokugawa Shogunate, which rules the Himeji Castle region. It is therefore in the interest of the various local tribes to be seen in a good light by the Sakai tribe. To gain influence, they must get members of their family at every level within the White Castle. In The White Castle you take on the role of a leader of a small tribe. You fight for the position and future of your tribe in the court of the White Heron. Cunning and precise resource management and housing relatives within Himeji Castle are the key to victory! On his turn, he chooses a die from one of the three bridges and places it on the game board or his own tableau. The value of the die he covers with this determines whether he has to pay money for it or receives it. For choosing a low die you get a bonus, which becomes increasingly attractive as the game progresses. Then you perform the actions associated with the field in question. The different areas, such as the spring, the training grounds and the castle, offer different options for action. You can receive coins, daimyo seals and resources, but also install gardeners or have tribe members climb the social ladder within the castle as courtiers until they perhaps reach the daimyo's floor. You will score some points during the game, but it is mainly about the situation at the end. Then your courtiers earn points in different ways. Because the dice on the bridges and the dice tiles on the game board are always rolled and placed randomly, the starting position is different every game. The same applies to the promotions available in the different places. As a result, The White Castle of Himeji always remains surprising and challenging.

Ticket to Ride: Ghost Train takes the gameplay of the Ticket to Ride series and adapts it for a younger audience. Generally, players collect float cards, claim routes on the map and try to connect locations such as the Mad Professor's Lab, the Gingerbread House and the Derelict Barn shown on their tickets. In more detail, the game board shows a map of a city with certain locations connected by colored paths. Each player starts with four colored floats in hand and two cards; each ticket shows two locations and you try to connect those two locations with a contiguous route of your trains to complete the ticket. On a turn, you either draw two float cards from the deck or discard your float cards to claim a route between two locations by placing your ghost trains on them; this last option requires you to discard cards that match the color and number of spaces on that route (for example, two yellow cards for a yellow route that is two spaces long). If you connect the two locations on a card with a route of your trains, show the card, place it face up in front of you and then draw a new card. (If you can't connect locations on either card because the paths are blocked, you can take your entire turn discarding those cards and drawing two new ones.) If you make a route all the way from the Dark Forest region to the Seashore region, you will receive the "trick or treat" bonus.

Times have been tough. To save money, you've left your old castle and taken up residence in a luxurious ravine. You didn't think much of that castle anyway; it was plundered constantly, and never at a decent time. And if they weren't barbarians, it was the plague, or sometimes they even came at the same time and there weren't enough chairs. The ravine is amazing; there is plenty of sunshine and you can dispose of waste anywhere. In your spare time you took up begging again. That's how life goes sometimes. You're quietly beating people up, doing your own thing, when suddenly an epidemic or barbarians appear, or everyone suddenly becomes illiterate. The only thing you can do then is retreat to some ruin and wait for the storm to pass. Yet you are convinced that you will also overcome this setback, or at least do a little better than the others.
